Newbury Racecourse is a picturesque and relaxing wedding venue based in Berkshire and is perfect for your special day!
We pride ourselves on each of our wedding venues having their own distinct character. You can choose between our light and airy Owners Club, the heritage-rich Royal Box or the expansive Racegoers Suite. Our wedding venues are fully licenced for civil ceremonies and we also have an abundance of outdoor spaces for alternative ceremony options. We know that every wedding is different and we are dedicated to making your special day as individual as you are by helping you to create your own wedding package and menu. Whilst we offer a range of exciting wedding packages, we are also flexible and happy to discuss your specific requirements. External caterers are welcomed in our Racegoers Suite.
As a diverse wedding venue, we also offer a wide range of additional bars or terrace areas for you and your guests to enjoy throughout the day. The Crafty Filly is a great place to spill out for after ceremony drinks and the Champagne Bar provides a space for revellers to dance the night away! There is also the relaxed Wine Cellar for your guests who wish to take a little time out throughout the day.
As well as opportunities to take traditional photographs on the landscaped lawns we also offer access to the Winning Post, Parade Ring and the Jockeys Weighing Room! Or why not go the extra mile and combine your wedding with a raceday.
Literally a hop, skip and a jump from our wedding venues is the Lodge Hotel and we are sure you’ll love the modern, heritage design of our 36-bedroom hotel. Don’t worry if you need additional bedrooms there’s an amazing choice of hotels within 10 minutes of Newbury Racecourse and we will happily recommend the best local accommodation options for your guests.
Our dedicated team love weddings and believe that the wedding planning process shouldn’t be stressful. Our Wedding Executive, Gemma, and our Wedding Manager, Majella, will support you through the whole process; from your first contact with us until the last goodbye at the end of your special day.

Is your wedding venue licensed for ceremonies?
We are indeed. We also have connections with Celebrants for an alternative ceremony and we have many indoor and outdoor spaces we can use.
Will there be another wedding taking place at the wedding venue on my day?
Certainly not, we only hold 1 wedding per day at Newbury Racecourse to ensure that our staff give you the highest level of their attention.
Can I add things onto my package after I sign the contract?
Of course, you can, once we have the contract signed you will work with our venue’s wedding coordinator to help you gain inspiration and make your ideas come true! We will also give a list of the different items that you might like to add for your big day.
Can I block book bedrooms in The Lodge?
Yes, we can hold as many rooms as you would like (depending on availability) and we will give you a special code which you would get your guests to quote when they book. This will ensure they receive the special rate and are attached to your wedding venue booking.
